Boba Nova ("we," "us," "our") operates this website to share our menu, location, and hours, and to help you order or get in touch. This page explains what happens when you visit — plainly, and only covering what the site actually does.

What this website does not do

This site does not use analytics scripts, advertising pixels, tracking cookies, or any third-party tracking technology. There are no embedded social media widgets. We don't sell, rent, or share visitor information, because we don't collect any beyond what's described below.

Contact form

The "Send a Message" form on our About & Contact page is not currently connected to a live inbox — submitting it does not send us anything yet. If you need to reach us right now, please call (630) 410-8120 or message us on social media. If we connect the form to a real message service in the future, we'll update this page to describe what information is collected (typically just what you type into the form — name, email, phone if provided, subject, and message) and how it's used, which would be solely to respond to your message.

Basic hosting logs

Like effectively any website, ours is served by a hosting provider (Netlify) that may keep standard server logs for security and reliability — things like IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. We don't access these for tracking or marketing purposes, and we don't combine them with anything else about you.

Ordering through third-party platforms

When you order ahead, you're taken to an external ordering platform — Menufy (our primary option), DoorDash, Uber Eats, or Grubhub. Once you leave our site for one of these, your order, payment, and account information is handled entirely by that platform under its own privacy policy — we don't receive your payment details, and we don't process payments ourselves.

Social media & external links

Links to our Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook pages, and to Google Maps for directions, take you to those platforms, each governed by its own privacy policy. We don't control what those services do with your data once you're there.

Cookies

This site does not set its own tracking or analytics cookies. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy to explain what's used and why, before adding it.

Children's privacy

This website is a general-audience business site and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects or does ever changes — for example, if we connect the contact form to a real inbox or add analytics — we'll update this page to match.
